Kaisen Digital goes live!
Welcome to my first blog post under my new (ish) company – Kaisen Digital.
I officially launched Kaisen Digital mid-2013, when after 15 years of driving digital transformation in businesses as eCommerce Director, Digital Director and Marketing Director, I was asked to help the National Gallery develop their digital communications capability. An irresistible opportunity.
Sharing my experience of digital transformation
Having worked both agency side and client side with over 100 companies to drive and implement change to a digital-first sales and marketing model, I felt more than ready to take my transformation skills and experience out to the world as a consultant.
When I completed my work with the National Gallery, I found more interesting work coming my way through referrals, and so shamefully the development of my own digital presence was pushed to the back-burner. I know….
£47 and quite a few hours later, the website is done. But of course that doesn’t mean it’s finished. A website is never finished. That’s one of the great joys of online business; the chance to test, learn and improve iteratively week by week and track the results.
That’s why I called the company Kaisen Digital.
In my next post I’ll explain more about the Kaizen business philosophy and how I believe it embodies the mind-set organisations need to adopt in a digital market place.
